Sheffield based film maker/Animator/Writer/ Artistst/ Photographer.

I was born in sheffield in 1985 & lived at hyde park until I was 3 & then moved to Westifeld where we lived till I was 13. I attended Halfway infants then Shortbrooke primary  before going to Westfield secondary school. At the right old age of 6, I decided I was going to go to art college & then work in animation. I'd always had a keen intrest in film and film making, theres never been a time in my life where it hasn't been improtant to me. It wasn't really until my 2nd year at college that the idea of working in animation & film seemed really possible. With the help of my friends & tutors I started working more with narrative,  & character based pieces, also exploring movement within still images, & creating animation through them. for my 3rd year final piece I created a projected piece of work showing the movement of a emotional person. I also shot a short film for this project, where by my subject was trashing a room in frustration over a lover.

At 16 I started studying at Rotherham college for arts and technology (RCAT) where I met some of my best friends and greatest inspriations. They gave me more confidence, and more self worth, then any other time of my life has given me. I was bullied really badly at school & they brought me away from that pain.

 Muse (the band) have inspired many pieces of my work and my personal life, it is one of my greatest goal's to work with them. Its a large goal, but everyones got to have a target to work to I surpose.

I've been a fan since 2000, and have been to many fantasic gig's & events to see Muse.

 2005 I started a degree in animation at the University of central Lancashire, where I'd been a first/ second student till march 2008. March 2008 after beeing very ill since sept 2007, I was dignoised with M.E (cronic fatuge syndrome) which has changed everything about my life. It has made me more determend to finish university and complete my goals. I would love nothing more then to work in television, & film for the rest of my life.

My plan for the near future is to finish university with a first, and to then begin my own work in film & tv. I am also planning on studing for my MA, at Sheffield Hallam in film making & production.
